Delfeayo Marsalis, born on July 28, 1965, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an accomplished American trombonist, music producer, and educator, primarily known for his contributions to jazz. A member of the renowned Marsalis family, he is the son of pianist Ellis Marsalis Jr. and brother to celebrated jazz musicians Wynton, Branford, and Jason Marsalis.
